Some of 4th of July and before

I'm as goofy as my caretakers make me out to be...
Auntie Laura thought I looked like some sort of fictional animal here, can't quite remember what though...

Mama and Daddy took me on a plane trip over 4th of July to visit a few of our family and friends in MN on the spur of the moment. We're sad we didn't get to tell more of you we were around, but it was almost impossible to see the small amount of people we did see.

Airplanes are very interesting little places, I look forward to trying this flying thing again soon. I have lots more of you I'm just dying to meet.

Here I am fussing at Mama's cousin Tim, he's quite the charmer and had me calmed down in no time. I sure do like this guy!

Ahhhhhh....Auntie Lara, I missed you! Glad you could join me for my first boat ride. :)

I'm not too sure whether or not I like these boat things. Everyone gets to swim but me...so unfair. However, Autumn was a real cutie...don't worry sweetheart, I'm not crying because of you. ;)Stay tuned folks, Mama and Daddy have many more pics of me to share and I have much more to say.

I'm baaaaaaack....

Hey guys! After a long break, I have finally returned. Mom finally uploaded a ton of pictures to her computer and will be updating this blog thing little by little. I just managed to talk her into putting one picture up for all of my loyal fans as a tide-over. So, without much further ado....

P.S. By the way, I'm almost 4 months old. Can you believe it? You can wish me a happy 4 month birthday on August 24th.

Almost 9 weeks old! Yay!

Okay, so I am almost 9 weeks old. On Monday, in fact! And...I know I've been a bit of a stranger lately but I've been so busy growing, fussing, feeding and enjoying my parents' and Auntie Laura's company that I haven't had much time to update this thing. But I'm here now so here we go!

It was Daddy's first Father's Day! We had so much fun! We went to the North Beach Festival in SF. I wore my special Daddy t-shirt just for him. Here I am stretching so I can show off the text. In case you can't read the shirt, it says: "My goal...to be as cool as my dad!"

Obviously, the day was tiring me out a bit. I decided to take a nap and Momma and Daddy-D thought it was so cute they wanted a picture with me. I'm all wrapped up because it was kinda chilly out at the end of the day.

Here I am napping again with my froggy friend. Daddy matches Froggy in green with his cool Ween-T!

I think Momma might be getting a little concerned about my sleeping...lol...here she is staring me and Froggy down!

And my final nap pic! Momma said she couldn't sleep anymore so she put me to bed with my sleepy Aunt Laura. We're a good match! We both can sleep at just about any time of day.

Anyway, I'm about 24 inches long now...2 feet tall and I weigh over 13 1/2 lbs in my birthday suit. I have my 2 month (plus) doctor's appt coming up on Monday and get to have my first immunization shots. I'm a little apprehensive about those but M & D say I'll handle it like a champ! Anyway, I got behind on my nap schedule while updating this so I'd better go.

Special mid-week treat!

Mommy and Daddy tell me I really made their day... I have NO idea why. ;D

6 Weeks

So it has been awhile since I've updated things around here.
I've been a bit busy learning all sorts of new things like: How to stay in bed til 2pm on the weekends like Daddy (See Image A), learning how to smile socially instead of letting smiles solely express my gaseousness, avoiding the camera during these practice smiles until I get it down, graduating to a size 2 diaper, and bulking up to 12.2 pounds!!!

Doing my calisthenics, a.k.a. "Tummy time!" Phew I'm tired, this getting strong business is hard work!

My favorite place to be - in between two lovely ladies. I'm a lucky boy!

We are a happy family, can't you see? Just wish I was actually looking at the camera in this shot.

1 month birthday

Hey everyone! I turned 4 weeks old on Monday, 1 month tomorrow! On this occasion, I have more pictures from the past week or so to share with you.

First, I'm telling Daddy all about my adventures while he was in Monterey for a 2 day meeting. We really missed each other and had lots of catching up to do as you can see...

Daddy even helped me with a bath. He is so cool!
Then, we all decided to go for a trip to the beach in Half Moon Bay. I'm not sure if we really need the sunglasses but we're pretending it was the best beach day ever! ...well, so far it is MY best day at the beach!

Daddy is showing me what the beach is all about. Just check out the view...and surfers, yay! He promises me he will take me surfing some day.

And, here I am as snug as a bug in a... hand knit hooded sweater? I love it! It kept me warm all day. I could barely stay awake.

OK, fine, my parents really want me to post this movie of me hiccuping. Man... how embarrassing. Here it is.

Week 3

Week 2 post

By popular demand, I have posted some shots of me with some peeps you haven't seen me in pictures with yet.

First, my lovely blushing momma smiles for the camera as I do what I do best. Yay for boobies!

Next, Momma works at keeping me warm as I rest and keeping herself busy and creative at the hospital...what a woman! ;)

And here I sit in the arms of my namesake (middlename , that is). Grandpa says he's going to teach me how to comb my hair. I'm so excited!
Oh, and this is my silly Aunty. We thought we'd have some fun making faces for the camera. Aren't we cute?

Finally, a solo appearance by yours truly. Wheeeee! A clean diaper...*devious grin* I'll change that in t-minus 5 4 3 2...*pssssss...ffffarrrrt*

By the way, everyone, I am now 2 weeks 2 days old. Haven't I grown? Ok well, off to do more of that growing stuff.

Memories of days surrounding my 1 week birthday.

So we've discovered I like to sleep on Dad's t-shirts... It seems they'll try almost anything at 4am. I have them right where I want them.

In this next shot, I'm trying the arm-next-to-the-face thing I learned last night.

It is important to note that my older sister keeps a watchfull eye on me. Even though she's cautiously distant and fuzzy, I still appreciate it.
